Candle Care

Trim the candle wick before each burn. Wicks should be trimmed to 1/8inch  for wooden wicks. This will ensure less soot.

Wooden wicks may need to be relit 2-3 times on the first burn. On the first burn tilt your candle and allow the flame to draw across the wick. Hold in place for at least 10 seconds.

Wooden wicks should have the charred wood removed before relighting, this can be done with a wick trimmer, a pair of nail clippers or by pinching it off with your fingers.

Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely to the edges of the container during each use, this ensures an even burn and extends the life of your candle.

If you extinguish your candle before a full melt pool is formed, your candle will tunnel. This will greatly reduce the lifespan and performance of your candle.

Please note, with Coconut Apricot wax, many candles will not melt to the edge of the container on the first burn. As the candle burns, the wax will catch up!

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and drafty areas.
